The Work That Defined Our 2025
2025 was a full and diverse year for MKDG. Here’s an overview of what we accomplished:
Big news: Lauren Kelly became a partner with Eric Moser and the firm name changed from Moser Design Group to MK Design Group - M for Moser and K for Kelly. We subsequently licensed MKDG in South Carolina, and more states to come.
We attended several design charrettes this year, in Oxford, MS and Aiken, SC
We spoke at the National Town Builders Association gathering in Fernandina Beach, FL, as well as the Urban Guild Summit in Chattanooga, TN
Renovations on both new and historic buildings (10)
New outbuildings (15 garages, carports and combinations thereof)
Modifications of existing designs (30+)
Completely custom designs for houses (20+)
We designed several new 2-5 acre infill projects with a variety of building types
A pool pavilion for Habersham Phase 7,
Some new 12-unit apartment buildings to be built in Habersham and other traditional neighborhoods and towns.
We worked with the Town of Port Royal, SC to update their form-based code and help them lift a moratorium on multi-family construction.
And we’ve gotten to see, both in person and in photos, a number of designs under construction and completed.
This year reinforced our commitment to thoughtful design, collaborative planning, and creating meaningful and sustainable places. We hope you’ll continue to follow along with us in 2026!
